- •Photo file larger than 50 KB — the OTR form silently fails.
- •Photo smaller than 20 KB — SSC rejects blurry / over-compressed uploads.
- •Signature not on white background — scanner treats it as invalid.
- •Coloured or dark background behind the face — must be a plain, light backdrop.
SSC's official rules
- •SSC's One-Time Registration (OTR) accepts only JPEG.
- •Photo must have been taken within the last 3 months (SSC guideline).
- •Signature must be in black or dark blue ink on white paper before scanning.
