Why the form rejects your upload
- •Photo above 200 KB — the JEE Main form silently rejects the upload.
- •Photo without candidate's name and date printed below the face.
- •Coloured background — NTA expects plain white or a very light background.
- •Signature by someone other than the candidate — leads to disqualification.
Official rules
- •JEE Main accepts JPG/JPEG only.
- •Photo: 10–200 KB, 200×230 px, plain background, taken within last 6 months.
- •Signature: 4–30 KB, 200×80 px, black/blue ink on plain white paper.
- •Candidate's name and date of photograph must appear below the face on the print.
