GATE 2027 accepts a 5–600 KB JPG/JPEG photo, with resolution from 200×260 to 530×690 px and width-to-height ratio 0.66–0.89. Use a colour photo on a white background with 60–70% face coverage. This preset outputs 240×320 px, within that range; inspect the crop yourself.
GATE 2027 accepts a 3–300 KB JPG/JPEG signature, from 250×80 to 580×180 px. The width must be 2.75–3.75 times the height, with the signature covering 70–80% of the image. This preset is 250×80 px. Sign yourself in black or dark blue ink and check the preview is clear.

Why the form rejects your upload
- •Photos outside 5–600 KB or the published resolution and aspect-ratio limits do not meet GATE 2027 specifications.
- •A non-white background, covered facial features or glare on glasses does not meet the photo requirements.
- •Signature files outside 3–300 KB, with incorrect proportions or illegible strokes, do not meet the signature requirements.
- •GATE's unacceptable examples include all-capital, digital and initials-only signatures.

- •Use a colour passport-size photo, plain white background, frontal face and clearly visible facial features.
- •Signature: JPG/JPEG, 3–300 KB; 250×80 to 580×180 px; width/height 2.75–3.75; signature coverage 70–80%.
- •Sign in black or dark blue ink yourself. The submitted signature must match the one used at the examination.
